Pine Peak renovation in Fosston

Pine Peak has started a two week renovation focused on expanding therapy services and improving access to care for the local community. The updates aim to improve privacy, add treatment options, and better connect therapy services with the gym space. The biggest changes are happening within Pine Peak Therapy. An existing treatment area is being remodeled and expanded to include an additional connected room, creating a more practical therapy space. The new layout gives therapists direct access to gym equipment for orthopedic and physical therapy sessions when needed, so patients can stay within the therapy area. Co-owner Mallory Vig shared that this change makes it easier to use gym equipment during therapy, which is not common in many rehabilitation settings where patients often need to move through separate spaces or buildings. These updates also support the recent addition of physical therapist Jacy Burgess, allowing for more appointments and helping meet growing demand in the community. The fitness area will also see updates. A large wall and former cubby area near the entrance are being removed to create a more open entry and improve movement through the space. The gym will gain more usable room for additional equipment and group sessions. The wellness treatment area is also being adjusted to better accommodate visiting health and wellness providers, including services such as reflexology. Materials for the renovation were purchased from Millers Building Center in Fosston, Minnesota, and the work is being completed by Sander Construction, with electrical wiring handled by Al’s Electric of Lengby. By working with local businesses and expanding in house services, Pine Peak continues to invest in care, wellness, and long term access for the surrounding community.
