One Act play participants of OZ will be advancing to Sections.

On Friday January 24th the Fosston One Act Team took 2nd place at Subsections at RLCC. Students performed OZ by Don Zolodis. 

Beth (played by Addison Wendt) is reeling after the loss of her sister (Lillian Nelson). Longing to get back home, Beth decides to go see the powerful Wizard of Oz (Ezra Herold) for help. Along the way, she encounters an anxiety-riddled lion (Micah Malmanger), a sarcastic tin man (Avery Hruby), a proudly ignorant scarecrow (Allison Carlin), all parodies of their counterparts in the movie. Through her journey of grief she finds herself journeying through a world that resembles "The Wizard of Oz". Oz is a hilarious and yet heart-wrenching exploration of heartache and grief.

Sections will be held in Bagley on Saturday January 31st with one winner advancing to State on February 5th and 6th.
