NELL Spring 2026 Program Lineup
Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning (NELL) has finalized the Spring 2026 program lineup. This spring there is something for everyone! The programs couldn’t be more diverse.
Note: All programs are on Wednesday mornings starting April 8 through May 20, 2026. The doors open at 9:00am with light morning refreshments(freewill). The programs start promptly at 9:30 and go until approximately 11:00am with questions.
There is no charge to attend NELL programs.
Programs are open to anyone wishing to attend. The NELL program is funded through individual and business memberships, donations from area businesses, organizations, benefactors and individuals, as well as the free-will refreshment donation.
NELL is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Spring 2026 Program Lineup:
April 8 Bonnie Lundorff: “Exploring Vintage Textiles, 1860’s - 1960’s”. Bonnie is the owner of Willow Wood Market. A little quilt shop/wool studio just south of Bemidji. Location “Our Saviors Lutheran Church” at Ebro Corner 36344 County Rd 7 Bagley MN. Approx. 7 miles West of Bagley.
April 15 Doug Ohman: “America’s First Ladies - Part 1”. Stories, photographs, and forgotten memories about many of America’s best-loved and most influential First Ladies. Location “The Bagley American Legion” 112 Main Ave N. Bagley MN (Part 2-September 6)
April 22 David Bainbridge and Alethea Kenney: “Renewing Our Land and Our Power Source” Learning and understanding the basics of solar energy from a husband and wife team who installed their own system. Location “The Bagley Public Library” 79 Spencer Ave SW. Bagley MN (Turn at Galen’s)
April 29 Garrett Ebling: “Collapsed: A Survivor’s Climb from the Wreckage Of the I35 Bridge” Garrett recounts his experience and what it took for him to finally start moving forward again post-trauma. Location “The Community Center located in the McIntosh City Clerk’s Building” 115 NW Broadway, McIntosh MN
May 6 Ginny Benson: “A Personal Story of My Aunt, Elizabeth Sudmeier: First Female Spy in the CIA.” Location “Good Shephard Church” 116 MN-92 Clearbrook, MN
May 13 Emily Thabes: “Rosies: The Riveting History of the Women who Sustained a National and help Win WWII.” Location “Faith Lutheran Church” 32 Bagley Ave. NW, Bagley, MN
May 20 David Jones: “Mt. Rushmore: The Carving of an Icon.” The interesting stories behind the statistics. Location “Bagley American Legion” 112 Main Ave. N., Bagley, MN
