Monroe Crossing coming to Gonvick

Coast to coast, Monroe Crossing is one of the best known names in bluegrass music, and they are coming to Gonvick, September 7.  The group has made more than 1500 concert appearances throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. According to fiddler and lead singer Lisa Fuglie, the secret to the band’s longevity and success is “… just plain hard work and dedication. We all share a love for bluegrass music and for performing on stage. We appreciate every audience, large or small, and understand that we’re there for them, not the other way around.”
Monroe Crossing concerts consist of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and heartfelt originals.  Join other bluegrass fans, Friday, September 7, 7:00 PM, Clear Waters Life Center, 226 Elm St. in Gonvick.  Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for students, 12-17.  Children, under 12, are free.  Tickets may be purchased at the door or at CWLC Clearbrook Office or reserved by calling 218-776-2789.  Doors open at 6:30 PM.
"For anyone who is looking for the best in bluegrass and the best in entertainment, I highly recommend Monroe Crossing. Thoroughly entertaining! One of the best!" — Dick Beckley, President, Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association
