Letter to the Editor
Do you remember? As I was remembering (backwhen and now), consider the difference. Remember when life was harder, but certainly simpler. Food was simpler and healthier, (venison and potatoes). Now as Ted Nugent says, “Processed food is chemical warfare.” Remember when we could read and write with paper and pencil. Now cell phones do it all, and nobody can read our “readin” and “writin’. Remember when America was America? Now with all the liberal policies, we don’t hardly recognize the America we were born in. Remember back in the day, we could trust our politicians (a little bit), our doctor and our preacher. Now we can hardly trust any of them. While on that thought, remember when in 1st Samuel the people of Isreal had the government of God, but wanted a King like other Nations. Please read 1st Samuel chapter 8 for your own benefit. Remember when in the 60’s, Vietnam Veterans were regarded as you could say, enemies of the State to American public here at home. We were proudly serving our country with pride, valor and blood. But the good old USA wouldn’t welcome us home. What a kick in the head! Now we look around and wonder why these same people are welcoming with open arms, illegals and organized groups of gangs and criminals from numerous Nations who are killing our Nation and its children. Do you really think these criminals will fight for you and America like we did? Next time you need help, look for an MS13 gang member or Tren-de-argua to help you, and see how that works. When I visit with other Vietnam Veterans, I sense, feel and see the sadness and broken hearts of men who willingly laid their life on the line for America and proud of it. And everyone says they would do it again. A Vietnam Veteran friend of mine said when he came from Nam, he went to church. The preacher criticized Vietnam Veterans. The guy left church and never went back to church, to my knowledge. Preachers like that commit people to hell. We all still feel the pain. When you see a Vietnam Veteran, please shake his hand and thank him for his service to our Nation. I claim no political party but vote for who I think is most beneficial to our great America. Our political system is broken and we need the government of God as in I Samuel 8: Bible, Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and a lot of PRAYER. Ponder what Thomas Paine wrote “These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine Patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their Country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.” So-long for now, and God Bless America BTW: Jesus is King! A big thank you to all Veterans and your service to America.
