Garfield race results January 18

Cold, windy, and miserable but it only prevented the Garfield Lake Ice racers from completing two sets of races as is the rule down to one set.   21 cars filled the pits up from the 12 last week.   The brave and tough corner men and flagman endured the cold for the six races held completing the first set before cancelling the second set due to the freezing temps and wind chill.

  Heat winners were Chad Tabaka, Hunter Weeks, and Landon Weeks.  The team of Rob Geschwill and Mark Swanson won the Consolation race. Feature Winners were Nic Lewis and Sawyer Nicolson

     Racing will resume next Sunday at noon on Garfield Lake in Laporte, Minnesota.
