Farmers in Clearwater, Mahnomen, Polk and Red Lake Counties Receive $2.9 Million in Cash-Back Dividends from AgCountry Farm Credit Services
FOSSTON & CROOKSTON, Minn. (February 11, 2026) — Farmers and ranchers in Clearwater, Mahnomen, Polk and Red Lake counties will be receiving $2.9 million in cash-back dividends returned by AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry). This marks the 13th consecutive year AgCountry has returned a share of its net earnings to customer-owners, reflecting the cooperative’s financial strength and focus on returning value through its annual patronage program. Eligible customer-owners were issued patronage payments the last week of January.
“The Board of Directors is dedicated to ensuring our patronage program remains consistent and dependable,” said Steve Perdue, AgCountry Board Chairperson. “Cash-back dividends underscore both the strength of our cooperative model and the value it returns to our customers.”
2026 Cash-Back Dividends Distribution
This year’s cash-back dividend is equal to 100 basis points — or a return of 1% of a customer’s 2025 eligible average daily loan balance with AgCountry. The 2026 payout equates to the following county-level distributions:*
- $109,000 in Clearwater County.
- $671,000 in Mahnomen County.
- $2.0 million in Polk County.
- $116,000 in Red Lake County.

The Board of Directors for AgCountry has also approved a cash-back dividend to be paid from the cooperative’s 2026 net earnings, the amount of which will be determined in December. Since 2013, AgCountry has offered a patronage program and shared its success in the form of cash-back dividends.
