The Clubhouse Childcare of McIntosh will hold and Open House on June 6th

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm Aaron and Nicole Cook invite you to the Open House at the new Clubhouse Childcare Center in McIntosh. The Clubhouse is located in the former VFW Club building which has been remodeled and changed to suit the needs of a childcare center.
The Cooks will be on hand to answer questions, give tours, talk about their plans for the future, help with enrollment and visit with those looking for childcare or those who want to check out the newest business in McIntosh.
Nicole and Aaron Cook are Win-E-Mac graduates. Nicole is a McIntosh native and Aaron is a Erskine native. Both Aaron and Nicole attended University of North Dakota. Nicole graduated with a degree in Psychology and Deaf Studies and Aaron with a degree in Banking and Investments along with a Master's in Education Leadership.
Aaron is currently the Athletic Director and Finance Officer at Win-E-Mac School and Nicole has done home daycare for the past 4 years.
The Cooks are very involved in Win-E-Mac School activities, Aaron is a coach, and Nicole has coached in the past as well. They have 3 boys, Brody, who is 5 years old and will start Kindergarten in the fall, Colby who is 3 years old and Sawyer who just turned a year old.
The Cooks have been in the planning stages of having a childcare facility for quite a few years, with 7 different plans under their belt, they finally found a plan that worked well, and their dream became a reality with The Clubhouse Childcare Center.
The Clubhouse is open for children 6 weeks old to 12 years old. There are 4 different rooms, the infant room, with full-time openings and with part-time or full-time openings there is the toddler room, the pre-school room and the school age area for play and learning.
The Cooks have a belief that kids need to be kids in a safe, yet fun environment and have made the Center that way..
The Center has a camera system in place for the safety and peace of mind for parents and staff and is licensed for a total of 57 children. The center will only be closed major holiday's and all staff adheres to the strict Minnesota laws concerning secondary credits, continuing education, and experience.
The Clubhouse Childcare and McIntosh Senior Living have also teamed up to have students and residents "get together" once a week for fun and play. Volunteers are welcome at the Center with the passing of a background check as well.
The Open House is "open" to everyone in the Community. There will be cookies, lemonade and door prizes. There will also be an opportunity for kids to meet the staff and get familiar with their rooms.
