Bidal Duran Files for Re-election to Minnesota House of Representatives
Bemidji, MN — State Representative Bidal Duran has officially filed for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives, seeking another term focused on lowering taxes, stopping government fraud, protecting Second Amendment rights, and standing up for working families.
Duran, who is currently serving his first term in the House, has built a record of fighting for stronger oversight of taxpayer dollars and protecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding Minnesotans.
“Families across Minnesota are working hard, but rising costs and government waste continue to make life more difficult,” Duran said. “I’m running for re-election to keep fighting for lower taxes, stronger protections against fraud, and the freedoms that make our state and country strong.”
Duran is a longtime Bemidji resident, where he lives with his wife and three kids. He served in the United States Marine Corps, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan, before he spent more than a decade serving Northern Minnesota in law enforcement with the Bemidji Police Department, Hubbard County Sheriff's Office, and Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force.
“As a husband, father, veteran, and law enforcement officer, I understand the challenges facing Minnesota families,” Duran said. “I will continue working to make our state safer, more affordable, and more accountable to the people.”
