“Track Championships”
It wasn’t the Track Championship race we were looking forward to but 8 Season Points Champions were crowned on Sunday August 30th at Bemidji Speedway.
Rains early in the day and the possible threat of thunderstorms later made for a difficult call to cancel the Track Championships on Sunday night.
The champions in each class were crowned on the point totals currently held by each driver.
With the regular season of racing finished at the tracks in Wissota the season of specials begins with National Points still up for grabs.
Bemidji Speedways 48th annual “Paul Bunyan Stampede” will bring the best of the best to Bemidji on October 3rd and 4th. All eight classes will be on hand to battle for the crown. Saturday the 3rd races will start at 4:PM with Sundays races starting at 2:PM. Wissota Modifieds, Super stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Mod Fours, Streets, Pure Stocks, Hornets and Bemidji Mini Stocks will be in action.
