A total of 54 people volunteered to donate blood, and 50 were able to give during Grygla’s April 1st blood drive. Bernard Picolet served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 where he worked as an aircraft repairman overseas, which included being stationed in Japan and Korea. The Grygla Lion’s annual smelt fry is scheduled for this Saturday, April 11th, at the Grygla Community Center. The Lions will be serving “all you can eat” smelt from 4-8pm; everyone welcome! This is one of the biggest events in the annual Lions calendar and they expect to serve 400-500 customers!...

Grygla students participated in the Minnesota State High School League Visual Arts Festival, which was held in Fosston on March 25th. Grygla Art Teacher, Betsy Saurdff, said the students did very well!

The Grygla Firemen cooked up yet another excellent supper for the community on Sunday, March 29th.
