Tough loss for the Chargers in Badger

“It was a miserable and cold rainy night to play football up in Badger,” says Head Coach John Wilebski.
The GG Chargers played the BGMR Gators last Thursday night and came home after being defeated 30-0. Wilebski commented, “The young Charger football team found out that there is another level yet to reach in playing smash mouth football in section #8. The old football saying is “hit or get hit.” The flight or fight response kicks in and if you don’t fight back – you’re done.” He went on to say, “The Gators came out hitting with an experienced senior-led line up that took it to us right off the opening kick-off. On the positive side, the Chargers did regroup and started to battle back, getting inside the red zone twice, but failing to convert on a fourth down play and fumbling on a scoring drive with wet conditions.”
