Girls basketball comes to an end for the season

The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers girls basketball season came to an end last week when the team lost to Warren/Alvarado/Oslo in Goodridge on Thursday night. The final score of the game was GG 29, WAO 50.

Varsity Head Coach, Elroy Johnsrud, said of the game, “WAO came out and played a good game. They came out and hit a couple 3’s right away which gave them some momentum. We were getting some shots in the first half but only shot 11%. The girls fought hard in the 2nd half, but it wasn’t enough.” He added in closing, “I am proud of the girls for the season that they had. How they improved and grew as basketball players. It’s going to be tough to see our 6 seniors go. They brought a lot of leadership to the team.”
