First football games is a win for the Chargers

The first Charger’s football game of the season resulted in a 46-8 win over Cass Lake-Bena! The game was held away on the Panther’s field last Thursday, September 1st. Head Coach John Wilebski provided the Eagle with the following stats from the game:
Jaeden Kiesow 8 carries for 164 yards and 3 TD’s; Blaine Kriel 8 carries for 45 yards; Dylan Manderud 2 carries 16 yards; Peyton Verbout 2 carries 75 yards
Passing: 509 59 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Receiving: Tyler Stinar 2 catches for 23 yards and 1 TD; Jesse Wiseth 2 catches 19 yards; Jeremy Wiskow 1 catch 17 yards
Kick return Tyler Stinar 75 yard kickoff return TD, punt return 70 yard punt return TD
Defense: Blaine Kriel 13 tackles; Ben Groven 7 tackles; Dylan Walker INT; Brandon Stanley and Jesse Wiseth great line play.
Upcoming games on the football schedule include September 6th JH/JV Jamboree in Newfolden and a home game on the field in Goodridge this Friday night, the 9th, against Win-E-Mac!
