Services for NORMAN JACOBSON

  NORMAN JACOBSON, long time resident of Clearbrook passed away January 17, 2024.           

Norm was born to Adil and Bertha Jacobson on April 13, 1924 in rural Clearbrook.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Oscar, Norfolk, Virginia, Clearance of Clearbrook, and Robert, Duarte, California, as well as sisters Alice Dunrud of Springfield, Mo. and Anna Erickson of Gonvick. He is survived by his youngest brother Bernel living in California, son Curt Jacobson of Glendora, CA and grandchildren Jodi and Jeff Jacobson.

Norman married Clara Lebuck of Oklee and they had a son Curt Jacobson. Later Norm married his second wife Ethel Sutton in 1971 and they relocated from California to Minnesota in 1975. Due to age and illness he resided at the Cornerstone Residence Senior Care in Bagley the past three years.

Norm loved sports especially the Minnesota Twins and the Vikings.  He also loved horse racing and the casino action in both Mahnomen and Bagley.

Graveside services are being considered for early May with further information and dates to follow.
