Lyle Anderson, 82, of Gonvick, Minnesota, went to be with the Lord on October 12th, 2023.
Lyle was born in Pine City, MN, on April 29, 1941. He spent his childhood there and graduated high school in 1959. He then attended Bethel College in St. Paul and received his teaching degree in 1963. He met Beverly Carr at Big Trout Lake Bible Camp in 1956. They fell in love and were married in 1961.
Lyle started his teaching career in Clearbrook and spent the next 20 years teaching American History, social studies, coaching baseball and acting as athletic director. He then started his own business, Anderson Medical Supply. In his later years, he sold wood furniture products.
Lyle was an active member of Country Faith Church.
Lyle is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly, his son Mark (Patti), grandson Damon, daughter-in-law Joy, grandchildren Thor and Annika.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Laura Anderson, and his son, Bryon.
The funeral will be held on November 6th at 11:00am at Country Faith Church in Clearbrook.
