Jo Ann I. Ekeberg (nee Christianson)
Passed away peacefully in Wisconsin on Monday, November 6, 2023 at age 81. Loving wife to the late Dennis R. Ekeberg. Beloved mom to Jeff (Kay) Christopherson and Kevin Christopherson. Dear grandma to Patrick (Sarah), Abbey (Jesse), Eric, and Jonathan. Great-grandma to Cooper, Declan, Josie, and Micah. Sister to Gene (Mary) Christianson.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Irene Christianson; the father of her children, Allen S. Christopherson, and her sister, Ida Mae.
Spending time with family was very important to Jo Ann. Additionally, throughout her life, Jo Ann was always actively volunteering. She volunteered for many grade school events for her children. Other organizations she gave back to were the American Legion Auxillary helping veterans and the McIntosh Senior Living.
