Car Show winners at Pumpkin Day

Five car show winners received $100 each from the Gonvick Diamond Jubilee Committee during Pumpkin Day in Gonvick. No entry fee was required for the 75 cars that were entered in the show. Winners were selected by show participants each getting five cars to vote for. Winners were Steve Fjerstgad of Fossston with his 1969 Plymouth GTX; Angie and Gary Coan with a 1958 Impala from Bemijdi; Rick Myrum with a 1935 Ford truck from Pengilly; Randy Ridlon from Solway with a 1955 Chevy truck and Owen Shegrud from Bagley with a 1957 Chevy Camero.
The car that came from the furthest away for a second year in a row was Bob Dilley of Elk River. He drove his 1964 Ford 500 2 door hard top.
