The Library Link Site in Gonvick has a new coordinator. Pam Goebel took over from Karen Nelson. Pam is in her glory as she loves to read and she has used the library many times. Pam was Karen's sub and now Karen is her sub if she goes out of town.
The Library Link in Gonvick is open three days a week. You can check out various items or order what they don't have in stock for you. Or call 218-487-6220 to request something to be ordered for you. Hours are Monday 9 to 11 am, Wednesday 3 to 5 pm and Thursday 3 to 6 pm.
Pam would like to expand the DVD's and books on Tape sections. There is room with the new book shelves that have been put in the site. She would also like to have a Book Club session. They have the room in the building to have a meeting to do that. Books can be ordered through the link site so that they would not have to be purchased. Call the site if you are interested in having a book club at 218-487-6220.
Pam and her husband have just moved into Gonvick and remodeled their house. They retired as business owners of a bakery and moved back to her home town of Gonvick. She is also the appointed clerk of Pine Lake Township.
The items that are ordered are delivered to Gonvick every Wednesday so that they can be picked up.
